What’s included in this combo?
1 × Infinity Pre-Seasoned Cast Iron Kadai (1.8 L) and 1 × Infinity Pre-Seasoned Cast Iron Frypan (16 cm).
What does “pre-seasoned” mean?
The cookware comes coated with a baked-on layer of oil, which gives it a ready-to-use, naturally non-stick surface. You can start cooking right away after a simple rinse and dry.
Do I need to season it again?
It’s ready to use as is. For the best results, lightly oil the surface after each wash. Regular cooking with oil builds the seasoning further over time.
Will cast iron rust?
Cast iron can rust if it’s left wet. Always dry it completely, ideally on a low flame for a minute, and apply a thin layer of oil before storing. Light rust can be scrubbed off, and the pan re-oiled.
How do I clean it?
Wash with warm water and a soft scrubber, using little or no soap. Avoid soaking it or putting it in the dishwasher. Dry immediately and apply a light coat of oil.
Can I cook sour or tangy dishes in it?
Yes, but in the first few weeks, avoid long simmering of highly acidic foods like tamarind or tomato-heavy gravies. Once the seasoning is well built, you can cook them freely.
Why is cast iron heavy?
The weight comes from the thick, solid iron body. That’s what lets it hold and spread heat so well.
Is cast iron better than non-stick?
Cast iron has no chemical coating, handles high heat, and becomes more non-stick with use. Coated pans, by contrast, wear out over time.
What can I cook in this combo?
The kadai is ideal for curries, sabzi, deep frying and dals. The frypan is perfect for tadka, eggs, small dosas, parathas and dry roasting.
Is this combo suitable as a gift?
Yes. It’s a practical, long-lasting gift for new homes, weddings, Diwali or anyone who loves traditional cooking.
Can I buy these items separately?
Yes. Both are available individually on our store, in other sizes too.
